According to Wikipedia’s enchilada definition, an enchilada is a corn tortilla rolled around a filling and covered in a savory sauce. But rolling the tortilla can be tricky! Here’s how I do it…

The trickiest part of any enchilada recipe is probably the rolling of the tortilla around the filling.
Although there are many different methods of rolling an enchilada, I have prepared the infographic above to demonstrate the steps I use when wrapping my enchiladas in tortillas.
This is how I rolled my Cinco de Mayo Enchiladas in my beanless chicken enchiladas with plum tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese and cilantro recipe.
By no means is this the only way to wrap an enchilada, but the image above is an excellent representation of the steps I use to wrap my enchiladas in their tortillas.
