<li style="text-align: right;">2 cups buttermilk</li>
<li style="text-align: right;">1 1/2 cups raisins (optional)</li>
<li style="text-align: right;">1 tablespoon baking powder</li>
<li style="text-align: right;">1 teaspoon baking soda</li>
<li style="text-align: right;">1 teaspoon salt</li>
<li style="text-align: right;">1 lightly beaten egg</li>
<li style="text-align: right;">1/3 cup sugar</li>
<li style="text-align: right;">1/4 cup butter, melted</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: right;"><strong>What You Do:</strong></p>
<ol style="text-align: right;">
<li>Grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.</li>
<li>Mix egg and buttermilk together. Combine with rest of ingredients (except melted butter) and blend until smooth.</li>
<li>Blend in butter.</li>
<li>Bake for 65 &#8211; 70 minutes and remove to a wire cooling rack, allowing bread to cool for several hours.</li>

<li> Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, ginger, and <strong>one</strong> cup of the flour in a bowl. And in milk, eggs, shortening, and pumpkin.</li>
<li> Beat ingredients with a mixer on high speed for two minutes. Add in second cup of flour and beat again. Stir in optional walnuts.</li>
