Cold Turkey Salad

Servings: 4

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Chill Time: 1 hour

What You Need:

  • 4 cups cooked turkey meat
  • 1 large celery stalk
  • 3/4 cup red seedless grapes
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 large iceberg lettuce leaves or choice of bread (optional)

What You Do:

  1. Chop turkey meat into small pieces.
  2. Cut red grapes in half.
  3. Chop celery into small pieces.
  4. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, blending thoroughly.
  5. Chill for one hour and serve on lettuce leaves or on bread as sandwiches.


Crockpot Barbecued Ribs

Servings: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 8 hours (low)/ 4 hours (high)

What You Need:

  • 3 pounds of spareribs, cut into serving-size pieces
  • water
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce

What You Do:

  1. Arrange ribs in the crockpot and cover with water.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 more hours or high for 2 more hours.


Easy Shrimp Kabobs

Servings: 6 kabobs

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Grill Time: 10 minutes

What You Need:

  • 18 raw jumbo shrimp
  • 1 large red bell pepper
  • 1 large yellow bell pepper
  • 1 large red onion
  • 2 green zucchinis
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • garlic salt

What You Do:

  1. Melt butter in a small sauce pan.
  2. Peel skin off of shrimp, leaving tails.
  3. Skewer shrimp and vegetables on kabob sticks.
  4. Lightly brush kabobs with melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle kabobs with garlic salt and grill for 10 minutes, turning midway.
